About Cumberland Valley, PA
Cumberland Valley is a year-round destination in south-central Pennsylvania, made up of towns like Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Boiling Springs, and Shippensburg. It’s a place with something for nearly everyone — the Appalachian Trail and miles of creek and river paddling, state parks and historic downtowns, and a lineup of themed trails that range from craft beer to ice cream to coffee and chocolate. Families, history buffs, art lovers, outdoor adventurers, and couples on a weekend getaway all find their own version of the valley.
The project began as a full rebrand and has grown into an ongoing body of work since: the core identity and style guide, plus billboards, transit and street ads, print collateral, stationery, and merchandise. The color palette is intentionally broad, drawn from all four seasons, because the destination is too — it spans every season, every kind of visitor, and every trail and interest. The result is a brand that feels fun, family-friendly, and as multifaceted as the valley itself.
